Crys came in from talking to Arthur in the recreation room. She had made up her mind. If the teachers were going to show such ruthlessness, then it was time for her to stop with the kiddy stuff too. It was time to grow up. Her powers were linked to video games, but there was no reason for that to mean that she had to bring out such childish things. She went to her dresser and pulled out her game catalog. It was time for some more mature games to find their way to her utility belt. She took the Pokemon and Classic Nintendo games off her belt and placed them in their places within the catalog. Without even a second thought, she grabbed Halo Portable, Call of Duty, and Gears of War from their slots and slid them onto her belt. "The gloves are off." She said out loud as she closed the catalog and placed it back into her dresser.

The door to Crys and Mogan's room opened without a knock and revealed Joss. It was obvious by the look on his face that he wasn't expecting to see Crys. "Sorry, I'll just-" and started back out the door.

"Are you alright, Joss?" Crys asked him curiously. He had been rather quiet lately, especially since they got back from Genoshia

The door paused, half shielding Joss "I'm fine." was all he told her and the door began to close again.

"You can talk to me you know." Crys said, despite the fact that he had shut the door. She knew he could hear her. "If you need to..." she promised with a gentle smile that could be heard in her voice

Joss sighed and stepped into the room, leaving the door open "It's ok... really." Though it was obvious that there was something on his mind, being Amish Joss had always been taught to bury your feelings and trudge on. The trouble was, was that he didn't have a goal to trudge on threw at the moment.

"You know, everyone keeps asking me why I was so quiet back there...I was horrified by the actions of the teachers." Crys told him as she moved to sit down on the bed. "How about you?"

Joss was quiet for a long moment before saying "I saw Morgan."

"In Genosha?" Crys asked him in disbelief.

Joss nodded and sat himself in a chair by the door. "She saw me too, but ran off before I could speak to her."

"Well that's not very nice..." Crys said quietly. "I wonder what she was doin there."

"Not a vision I can tell you." Joss said solemnly. His mind flashed to that brief second where their eyes had met and met to recognize one another. It had been threw the smokey window of the Control Room tower and he'd almost thought he'd seen a ghost. The state of her clothes and the bandages on her ankles denoted that she must have been working in the mines. Though at the speed with which she'd fled it appeared that the breaking of her wings hadn't hindered her much.

"Well I guess that explains your odd silence lately." Crys said with a shrug. "So what are you doing now?"

Joss crossed his arms and tried not to look at Crys. "Forget about her I suppose. She's not coming back."

"Not what I meant. Why did you come by?" Crys asked him curiously

Joss' eyes met Cry's for the briefest moment, there was obviously hurt behind those heavy lids. "I heard you and thought it might be her."

"I should probably be alone with my thoughts." Joss said "And leave you to yours." as he atempted to vacate the room yet again.
